Cruising on a small sailboat means making good use of available space.

When I’m heading out for more than a day sail, I have move all my sailbags (and the deflacted Zodiac) to the foredeck. I’ve got room just ahead of the mast to stash this stuff, well tied down, and it doesn’t interfere with the jib at all.
The bonus is the sailbags make for a comfy recliner for watching the goings on at the anchorage, or reading an ebook. I have been known to nod off once or twice.
