Also known as Indian Arm, Say Nuth Khaw Yum Park is a deep water fjord within the greater Vanc0uver area. It is managed collaboratively by the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and the province of British Columbia.

The arm is about 12 km long, with widths varying from 1/2 to 2 km across. Because of it’s proximity to Vancouver and it’s shape, arm is a popular kayak destination. There are a number of kayak rental operations based in Deep Cove.
Exploring the upper sections of the arm is like stepping back in time, especially when you approach the Buntzen Powerhouses (No. 1 & No. 2). These gothic-style hydroelectric facilities were built by BC Hydro and Vancouver City Light in the early 1900s. There are also two glacier fed waterfalls to explore, Silver Falls and further up, Granite Falls.
