Up until 2024 the Mosquito Creek marina in North Vancouver was home to hundreds of pleasure craft. The marina is located in a prime location, a short walk from the Seabus terminal and the Shipyards.
Redevelopment of the marina started in 2025, with most of the moorage customers forced to find new moorage. With waiting lists of 6 to 8 years at most of the marinas in the lower mainland, many had to move to the Fraser River, Vancouver Island or the Sunshine Coast.
