Photographed here while transiting Active Pass to Trincomali Channel. The Spirit of Vancouver Island is one of BC Ferries “S” class vessels, a regular on the run from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen. She’s 167 m. long and almost 33 m on the beam. She has a capacity of 358 cars and 2100 passengers.
