We’ve had a few days of beautiful clear weather, a real delight in mid January in the lower mainland. We’ve also had lots of fog the past few days, with more forecast. I never tire of hearing the English Bay fog horns, though I worry for any mariners who might be out without radar.

In this shot, Cowans Point on Bowen Island is just on the edge of a large fogbank. The top of Vancouver Island is visible poking above the fog rolling down the Strait of Georgia.
